VISITING THE BATTLESHIP.

HOURS AND TIMES. Natjg»illy thousands of people are anxious to go on hoard the New Zealand, and Captain Halsey has mapped out a very liberal programme, which will render the ship open to the public every moment not required for the actual operations of routine work, which must go on, visitors or no visitore. The ship will be open to children every morning, except on Friday, the 9th, the day before the vessel sails. There is so much work to be done on that day that it will be impossible to allow any visitors at all. Monday next, the sth, will be "Children's Day," the guests being limited to city children, who will be allowed on board all day, except between 12 noon and 1 pjn. Adults may visit the ship from 1.30 to •5 p.m. every afternoon, except on Monday, the sth, "Children's Day." Those who are in doubt as to whether the ship is open to visitors or not can readily ascertain, as when the ship is open a flag of red and yellow (diagonal) will be flown. If this flag is not flying it means the ship is closed to visitors. °
