THE EVICTED GOVERNOR.
SYDNEY, this day. The Governor-General (Lord Denman) arrives on Saturday morning from Melbourne to review 20,000 cadets. He departs the same evening, as the Government having taken over Government House, there is no adequate accommodation for housing the distinguished visitors. A great outcry has been made by Press and public against the GovernorGeneral being driven to such shifts.
