MANUEL'S LOST THRONE
HOPES OF RESTORATION. LISBON, April 10. According to one of the Lisbon dar.ies, "the "Correio da Manha.-' ex-King Manual foresees his return to the throne of Portugal.
The juvenile monarch, who is just now out of business, declares that the condition of Portugal is deplorable. "Actual despotism," he told an interviewer, "has replaced parliamentary self-government, and is controlling even the courts of justice.
