GROWING STRONGER,

ROME, April 17. The Pope is perceptibly stronger today. "
The temperature of his Holiness rose slightly jWtefday afternoon, and he".had an attack of coughing, which almost suffocated him.
The gravest feature of the Pope's condition is the general exhaustion.
A bulletin issued last evening stated that there was no fever, and that the Pope's temperature was 98$. The bronchial symptoms were reported to be unchanged.
