IMPERIAL UNITY.
AUSTRALIA'S DEVOTION. (Received 8.50 a.m.) LONDON, April 17. The '•Pall Mall Gazette" says that Jlr Fisher's Ministry has earned the commendation of Britain for its devotion to Imperial unity, Imperial defence, and national service. Both parties command the confidence of imperialists.
The paper regrets the absence of Mr Deakin's commanding personality.
H.M.A.s. Sydney, on her trials at Glasgow, maintained an average speed of 25.7 knots.
