The Auckland provincial polo, tournament ' is being continued to-day. , The weather Is perfect, and all the games are being witnessed by a large number of spectators. The provincial cup competitions yesterday were well contested, particularly that between Te Awamutu A and Hamilton. In this game one or two minor accidents occurred, but none of the players' injuries necessitated their retirement from the game. It was possibly the fastest game e*er played on the local field. Results are as follow:— | First Round Provincial. Cup.—Te Awamutu B 7. v. Cambridge 5; Ohaupo. 8, v. Waltomo 2; Te AwamntuA 7, v. Hamilton 6. Second Round.—Te Awamutu A a bye The game, Te Awamutu B v. Ohaupo, is now in progress. The Handicap Cap matches start later in the afternoon. The handicaps are: Te Awamutu A scratch, Hamilton 3, Ohaupo 7, Te Awamutu B 7, Cambridge D, Waltomo 16. The draw for the first round is as follow.
