h ~ EXECUTIVE MEETING. ', At the first meeting of the new executive , of the Auckland Hockey Association last ', night, Mr. A. E. Tattley was elected chalr- . man for the season, and the following com- - mlttees were appointed:—<3round committee, Messrs. Tattley, Morton, and Wrigley; entertainment., Messrs. Parton, Barry, Richards, and Culpa--', advertising, Messrs. Hay, Butler, and Parton; pavilion, Messrs. Tattley, Taylor, and Alison; emergency committee, Messrs. Parton. Norton, and Taylor. The Areta Club's application to change their colours to black Jerseys with white collar bands and white monogram on breast was granted. It was decided to officially open the season on Saturday week witn a sports carnival and seven-a-side ton ma- . ment, and to start the grade championships * on May 10, entries to close with the hon. i secretary (Mr. L. H Norton, 24a, Swanson _ Street) at 5 p.m. on Monday, May 5. Tbe following Items will be on the sports tl programme:—Hockey-players' 100 yds cham» _ plonshlp, hockey-players' 100 yds handicap, hockey-plavera' COOyds relay race, ladles' _ 75vds handicap, ladies' 40Qyds relay race, land referees' 100yu_- handicap.
