IN THE BRISTOL CHANNEL.
(Received 10.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Advices have been received that the steamer Breiz HUcl, well known in the Australian trade, was sunk in collision with the steamer Tempest in the Bristol Channel while en, route to Algiers with a cargo of coal. Her crew was saved.
