A BOROUGH UNDIVIDED.
MT. EDEN WARDS ABOLISHED
The Mt. Eden Borough Council, at its final meeting of the year last night, confirmed the resolution passed in March that all subdivisions of the borough be abolished, and that the whole district be iii future represented on the Council by twelve members. Mt. ijden borough after, seven years of existence as a borough, is to-day a borough united and indivisible, and freed-from the divisions and dissensions of wards, and the candidates at the forthcoming electicjiis will stand for election, not as representing any • particular ward,-but as. representative of the district as a whole.
