XEW SYLVIA. Amongst the cargo by the Wimmera to-d*y was 50 tons of concentrates from the New Sylvia mine, Thames, which is being cent to the smelter at Cockles Creek, Newcastle. WAECANGI CONSOLIDATED. The manager telegraphed on Saturday afternoon: —"Broke down the leader at the intermediate level. Secured lOlbs. of picked stone/ MOUNTAIN KING. The manager telegraphed this morning:—"Secured 35lbs of picked etbne from the stope over 'No. 4 level. Encouraging prospects from the new rise."
