HARBOUR ELECTIONS.
ME: J. E. TAYLOR'S SEAT,
The Mahukau County Council recently ivrote to the Minister for Marine, asking for what period Mr. J. E. Taylor T.-ns elected a member of" the Auckland Harbour Board. A Ministerial reply was received .to-day, stating that Mr. Taylor ■will, by virtue of section 8 of the Harbours Amendment Act, 1010, hold office until the last Wednesday in April, 1914. The Town Clerk of Pukekohe wrote for instructions as to polling booths, and it was resolved that they be at Mangero, Otanuhu, Papakufa, East Taniaki, Cleve--46n, Mairarewa, Howick and Whitford.
