The dispute "between the Wellington.Slaughtermen's Union and the meat companies has been referred to the Arbitration Court. When the parties met before the Conciliation Council, Messrs. Bray and Pryor, on behalf of the companies, said he" -was instructed to say that thu companies were not prepared to discuss the situation with the old union in any shape or form.
