SHOT BY A POLICEMAN.
A SERGEANT STURDEBED. (Received 10.50 a.m.) LONDON, April 1. A policeman at midnight yesterday shot Sergeimt Crouch on a lonely footbridge over the River Avon, at Enford, and then committed suicide. it is believed that the policeman had recently been reprimanded.
