SCENE IN THE HOUSE. " YOU SAY THAT -OUTSIDE ! » (Eeceived 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, April 1. In the House of Commons to-day Mr. J. R. Ketby Fletcher, Unionist member for Altrineham, Cheshire, asked Mr. Lloyd George whether his salary was not sufficient to obviate the need for gambling on the Stock Exchange. The Chancellor hotly replied: "You'd better say that in a place where it will be subject to prosecution, then I will meet you as I have met others." An angry scene followed, Labourite members and others calling Mr. Fletcher a "dirty snob." Mr. Lloyd George called out "Cad."
