A request to the Mt. Eden Borough Council last night from the City Council to be supplied with a statement of the financial liabilities of No. 1 Ward, in view of the suggested joining of the ward to the city, was met with the reply that the information would be supplied when the Mt Eden Council was satisfied that the electors of No. 1 Ward were serious in their intention to join the city.
