TAJIAKI WEST ROAD BOAIID. The Tamakl West Road Board held their fortni-g-h-tly meeting on Friday evening, when there were present Messrs Campbell (chairmau), Andrew, Brookfleld, MeHugh, and PMkjngton. Water Supply.—The i-hairraan reported that as it was doubtful whether 3in pipes would prove satisfactory, arrangements had been made with ihe water supply contractor to substitute 4in pipes throughout the district. The extra cost worked out on schpdnle rates will be about £430. Postal Delivery. —It was decided to write to the chief postmaster, asking when the postal delivery promised by the PostroasterGeneral would be commenced. SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY

The Sunday school anniversary of the Stanley-Bay Methodist Church was held yesterday. The congregations were good. The prenehers for the three services were Revs. Turner and Bertram and Mr. Mcßoberts. A featnre of the services was the excellent singing by the children, who had beeu carefully trained by the superintendent Mr. C Smith.
