THEIR INTER-BEFENDENCE. HEED FOR A FREE ROAD. (Received 9.50 a.m.) LONDON. March 30. Lord Haldane. speaking at the London University, sajd that the man in the street was unwilling to pay luxes for secondary education, because he regarded it as a luxury, but really a national danger lay in the fact that Britain was behind the level of several of her competitors. If industrial pre-eminence was to stand, the nation must link elementary, secondary and university education.
