A barque, which in all probability is the llajrjorie Craig, was sighted outside Tlri Tin this morning, and a tug was dispatched to tow her into port. The •Majorie Craig is from lEdithburg with a cargo of salt, bark, and gypsum. The passage has been mede in 22 days, and in view of the fact 'that she has come the greater part of the way under jury rig, the voyage must be regarded as a particularly good one. She left Edsthtnrrg on January 12, and after being a few days out ran into very heavy weaUher. Her fore top-gallant mast and fore topmaet were carried away. This news was signalled to Cape Otway on the following Sunday, aaid at WQeon's Promontory on Monday morning. The captain stated that he would proceed to Auckland under jury rig. Evidently the winds have favoured the vessel during the latter portion oi the voyage. Mr J. Montague, who has been connected with the china, aad glassware ■trade in Auckland for the past 14 years, has sold out his business in Queen Street, and is shortly leaving fox Wellington, ■where he hae accepted the position of manager to the wholesale .business ; of Messrs Edward Anderson Co., Ltd.
