THE NEW COMMANDER.
IZZET PASHA APPOINTED. CONSTANTINOPLE,. February 1. It is reported that Nazini Pasha, formerly Conimander-in-Chief of the Turkish army, met his death by being shot through the head while lying on the ground. Izzet Pasha lias been appointed Com-mander-in-Chief oi the Turkish forces. He has issue an order calling upon the troops to maintain the gJorious traditions ol the nation's army.
