PAHIATUA SHOW.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PAHIATTJA, Friday. The fourth annual show of the PahlatuaAkito Agricultural and Pastoral Association, which was held to-day. was marred by unfavourable weather. The quality of th'? stock exhibited generally was a deckled improvement upon the display made last year. In the draught horses, Messrs. S. Bolton and C. Avery were the principal prize-takers. Tbe champiou%hips in cattle were awarded as follows :—Jersey bull, H. 11. Hughes iPahiatual: Holstein bull, J. Hart (Raumati, Dannevirke) : Ilolstelu cow, M. O'Connor (Pahiatim). In the dairy classes, M. Al.pass and It. Hughes (Pahiatual secured the principal honours. In the sheep classes, C. Avery took the chief prizes, and other winners of first awards In sheep were : It. Ilallburton and 11. K. : Wilton, and in fats, V. Rodney and W. Li. i 11. Rule. ]
