GENERAL CABLE NEWS.
During the demolition of a fort at Koenigsberg, in Bavaria, a shell exploded and killed four of the men on the work. The French Academy of Sport has awarded M. Garros 10,000fr in recognition of his services to the advancement of aviation.
By the fall of a cliff at Rottingdean seven workmen were buried and two killed.
