ANNIVERSARY REGATTA. HANDICAPPEItS AND ENTRIES. THE FLAGSHIP DIFFICULTY. A meeting of the Auckland Anniversary Regatta Cununlttee was, held yesterday afternoon in the rooms of the secretary, Mr. <J. C. Dacre. There vras a large attendance of members. The treasurer reported that subscriptions had come in freely, but that about £70 was still required to put the regatta finances on a .sound footing. It has not yet been decided what steamer will be need as a flagship. The difficulty that has arisen year after year bus met the committee again, and unless the Kumara or the Tofua can be secured, there appears to be no other suitable boat for the position.

The entries have now closed, and are as follows:—

Motor Launches (exceeding' 10 knots) Mercedes.
