News has just been received that Mrs. Forsyth, a visitor from New South Wales (where s-he is v-ery well known), was' drowned -at Okere this evening. With her husband she was fishing in a trout pool, when a slip by Mr. Forsyth caused her to fall into the wateT. Mr. Forsyth attempted to save her, bat the force of the current swej.lt him away, and when assistance arrived he was ■brought ashore exhausted. The body has not been recovered.
