The Auckland yachtsmen and motor launch owners are also casting their thoughts towards Russell with pleasurable anticipation, and since there is every prospect of a spell of settled weather lasting over the holidays, many of them are making arrangements to pay a visit to the North. Word was re ceived in Auckland to-day from Mr. G. Hewin (secretary of the Rnasell Regatta) that it has been decided to put on an open launch race on the programme ir there is sufficient inducement from the Auckland owners.
