• > POXc-OXBY CRUISING CLUB. The ponsonby Craislns Club held two harbour races ou Saturday afternoon for yacnts and launches respectively, all boats heiuc: steered by ladies. The course for yachts was fn-m flagship off St. Mary's Bay, round mark boat off Hirkentiead. Calliope Hock buoy, and mark boat off Queen Street wharf, flnishini north of flagship. Bowler resulted in a most enjoyable ! afternoon's rowing on Saturday. The southerly weather made the usual harbour i-ourses most unsatisfactory for rowing. but 011 the Cheltenham side tbe conditions were admirable for outrigger racing.
