A NEW BANK.
TO BE OPENED IN AUCKLAND. THE COMMERCIAL BANK OF KEW ?OUTiI WiALES. Considerable interest in 'business and commercial circles will attach to the announcement that a new banking institution is to be established in Auckland a.t the commencement of the new year. The bank, which is the Commercial' Banking Company of New South Wales, recently decided to operate in New Zealand. A month or two ago headquarters -were established in Wellington, and this week Mr. E. P. Yaldwin. the New Zealand manager, has been in Auckland, arranging for the opening of a. branch of the bank in Auckland. Premises opposite the ''Star' Offic?, in Shorfland Street. have been secured, and thp Auckland branch of the new bank will be opened early in January.
