I , WASHINGTON, December 20. , Mr. Pierpont -Morgan, giving evidence | before the House of Representatives committee investisratine the money trust, said all the banks in the world could not form a monopoly sufficient tn control money. Mr Morgan denied that he was vast power in present day financial undertakings, and he emphatically asserted that he did not seek any such power. He did not mind compp.tition in business affairs, but, he preferred combination.
