As was generally expected, the match between the Christchurch Boys' High School and the Auckland Grammar School was finished yesterday afternoon, resulting} in a win for the visitors by ten wickets. ] Having disposed of their opponents in the I second innings for 173 runs. ChrLstchurch J were left with 6T> to win. this total being I scored in quick time by Ilickmott and Evans without losing their wickets. I'lu-istchurch, with outy (E> rnns to get, commenced their second innings at 2.45. Ili.-kmott went to the wickets, taking Evans with him. The former took strike to 111-Arthur's bowling at the Newmarket end. and evidently playing himself in, made only one scoring stroke, an on drive for two on" the last bail of the first over.
