All arrangements are now complete fot the Christmas carnival of the Northern Boxing Association, wtrtch opens in the Town Hall to-morrow (Saturday) evening, and will be concluded on Monday. The principal bout on the opening night is the 15-round contest between the professional feather-weight F. Ellis, of Wellington, and 3 L. Robinson, of Gisborne, which promises T to be a most Interesting one. The amateur . bouts should be exceptionally good, and are , as follow:—Savoury v. Marquet, heavyt weights; Bennett v. O'Meara, featber- , weights; Kutner v. Payne, bantam-weights; ' Brown v. Otneteln and Cadmaa v. Cook. , On the second night the star attraction Is the meeting of M. Fleming, of Sydney, , and D. Murphy, of Wellington, for the 1 welter-weight championship of the Dominion. The box plan Is now open at Wildman and ; Arey's.
