At the trial of Dr. Clarke and Mrs. Fulham for the murder of ethe ratter's husband in 191 L the prosecution rejad further from Mrs. Fulham's letters to Dr. Clarke. After her husband's death Mrs. Fulham wrote to Clarke, remarking that God worked out things in a most beautiful manner, bringing two loving hearts together. Mrs. Fulham's ten-year-old daughter gave evidence that on the day her father died he told her he was going, and added, " God bless you.'' She saw Dr. Clarke put a white powder in water, then fill a glass needle, and he seemed to push the neeeile near her father's heart, arm and shoulder. Witness heard a funny gurgling, then her father died. Dr! Clarke then returned to the dining room, and said to her mother, " Gone."
