RECORD BUTTER SHIPMENT.
A record shipment of 39,000 boxes of butter will be made from Auckland to England and Canada on Friday and Saturday nest. About 10,000 boxes wiH go direct to Vancouver by the Marama on Friday, -while on the following day the Corinna "will lake 20,000 box«s for transhipment -to the lonic at Wellington to be delivered in London. At ruling prices this shipment wall reach a value of over £105,000. Th.c previous largest shipment within a fortnight was one of 31,096 boxes in the latter half of November by the Tainrai. Surrey and Zealandia. The butter shipment fir ifche season has now Teacied a total of 180,234 boxes, ac against 139,994 boxes for the oorreeponding period 3ast year.
