The Prime Minister (-Hon. W. F. Massry) arrived by the Main Trunk train this morniiijr. accompanied hy Mr. Y. 1). Thomson [private secretary), and met Lord and Liuly Liverpool on the arrival I of the Mahva, welcoming them on be- ! half of the Government. During the I morning. Mr. Masspy was occupied at ' t,ho Ministerial rooms, (government Buildings, with departmental business, and at noon he paid a visit to Lord I Liverpool at Government luusc, after- | wards proceeding to the civic luncheon at the Town Haul. Thia afternoon the Premier is again busy with Government affairs, and leaves »t 6.15 p.m., with Lord and Lady Liverpool, by the special train for Wellington.
