RAID IN' BELGRAVE SQUARE.
A BACCARAT SCAIH2AL. LAST LOSES £28,000. (Received 8 a~m.) LONDON, December 17. The police raided a mansion near Belgrav e Square and arrested 20 people of good social position. It is stated that a prominent society lady lost £25..000 in baccarat at the mansion. The evidence showed that fifty detectives raided the mansion, which was one of the largest gambling establishments ever raided in the West End. The stakes counters ranged from fl to £100. The players were bound over in of £50. while the principals were remanded on b£\iL
