MASSACRES AT RODOSTO.
OUTRAGE AND PILLAGE. CHILDREN BURNED ALIVE. TERROR IN THE CAPITAL. LONDON. November 7. The Constantinople correspondent of the "Daily Chronicle" states that bands of famished Turkish soldiers from Lule Burgas converted Rodosto into a scene of massacre, outrage and pillage until the Bulgars took it. The town was set on fire at seven points, and children were thrown into the flames. The happenings at Rodosto are unnerving the residents of Constantinople, where the arrival of foreign warships has increased the exasperation of the Moslems. Numerous murders of Greeks and Jews have occurred. Thirty-six Greeks were killed whilst unloading a steamer. The authorities are striving to repress the disorders. Many European women a,nd children are embarking on steamers. English residents are stocking their houses in order to be able to withstand a sie.ge. Twenty warships belonging to various Powers are hastening to the Bospborus.
