NORTH LYELL DISASTER
GASES STTLIi VERY BAD. HOBAKT. this day. An electric suction fan is working in the North Lyell mine. Helmeted men penetrated to some of the levels and found the gases very bad. though the absence of smoke indicated that the fire is out.
