"As A feiiult of the examinations just concluded in connection with, the Auckland University College, the examiners have resolved upon certain recotntnendations to i-he Council in connection wrth scholarships tenable at the' Colie<re. The recommendations for appointments, which will-come before-■ the'Ccmnci! at ife-rtexfe meeting, to be held on the 18th inst.. are as follows: —To the Urey i*cholarship. \V. Caradus; to the (iillies scholarship. VV. 11. Cocker, of the Auckland Granimar school: and to the -Sinclair ..scholarship, Miss Bessie Batfeersby, of the Girls' Grammui' School.
