DRAINAGE WORKS.
A TENDER ACCEPTED. A tender of J. H. Adams at £28,6fW 10/ has been accepted by the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board for the construction of a section of the main sewer .extending from Cox's Creek to Meola Creek. The other tenders were us follows: Mays and Gordon, £32,421 7/9; George Niccol, £31, 818 10/; A. Watson, £88,481 15/; J. A. Moody, £28,986. The engineer's estimate was £28,000.
