GREY STATUE.
(To the Editor.) . Sir, Our worthy Mayor talks about new outlets for Queen Street, but fails to use the one he has got. Why not remove Grey Statue, which now blocks our leading thoroughfare, and let us get out of town by the nearest route, which can be done without expense? It is strange the property owners of Upper Queen . Street should be credited with pushing one of the best propositions which has come before the Council, and been for so long neglected by our worthy Mayor and councillors. — am, etc., "LET US GET HOME."
