A letter has been received by the Harbour Hoard from the Government Insurance Department regarding the proposed superannuation scheme. The Poad decided to-day: "'That a sub-com-mittee, consisting of Messrs. Heather, Entrican. Allison, and the chairman, be set up to consider the matter, and report to the Hoard in committee." A letter was received by the Harbour Board to-day from the Commissi of Police, Mr. .T. Cullen, in connection with the use of the Board's launch for patrol work in the Auckland Harbour, and suggesting that the Department he charged only half cost,, of running expenses, the other half to be borne by the Board. It was decided: ''That the Board, without admitting any liability, agree to place at the d-UpoAal of the Minister of Justice for twelve months, between the bours of -sunset and sunrise, the launch A.H.8., the cost of running expenses and launohj man's overtime to be borne by the Department and that the Department be requested at the expiry of such period to provide it* own launch for the work of police patrol of the harbour, for which no liability devolves upon the Board" j ronml my bed stood I'nrle Ted, Jemima, .fane, and I'lorrie: J They Ihoncht I'd 'die. but bane it. 1 Was In iio beast.v hurry.
