SUDDEN DEATH.

Hair, lfrcsderick Robin, who lias been associated with the " New Zealand Yachtsman" since its inception some three and a-half years ago, died suddenly sit his residence. Cox's Bridge Road, Ponsonby, this morning, iir. Kobin was a Channel Islander, and had followed the sea up till about ten years ago. While at sea he obtained his captain's certificate. He was sixty years of age, and, with the exception of a slight cough, he wae hale and hearty until the time of liis death. This morning, shortly before seven o'clock he developed serious symptoms, which so alarmed his wife that Dr. J. N. Hope was sent for. Meanwhile, however, Mr. Robin had died during a cataleptic seizure. An inquest is being held this afternoon.

HAMILTON, this day. .lohn Patch, aged 50, who acted as pianist at the Thecsophists' Hall, left home at seven o'clock last night to attend to his duties there. An hour later he was found by a member of the Theosophical Society lying on the floor dead beside the piano. An inquest is being held to-day.
