WILLIS AND HIS BROOM.
SYDNEY, August 21. For too frequent interruptions, Mr. Speaker Willis ordered Mr. Meehan's removal from the Legislative Assembly yesterday evening. Mr. Meehan thanked Mr. Willis, and departed without assistance. This afternoon Mr. Wood's turn came. Mr. Willis reproved him for addressing the House as if he were leader of the Opposition. Mr. Wood protested, and Mr. Willis ordered his removal. Mr. Wor.d left, declaring that he would sooner go than stay to be insulted and deprived of his rights.
