DfQUIRY ASKED FOB. STB A. COHAN DOYIE'S PLEA. (Received 9.20 a.m.) LONDON, August 21. Sir A- Conan Doyle, in a booklet, demands an inquiry into the case of Oscar Slater, convicted of murdering Marion Gilchrist in Glasgow in December, 1908. He searchingly analyses the unsatisfactory evidence given in the case.
