While driving over the Hamilton traffic bridge he met a runaway ' horse attached to a vehicle, without a driver, coming full speed ahead for Mr. ' Wrigley. On reaching Mr. Wrigley's ' buggy the runaway swerved, and, though Mr. Wrigley's shaft struck a cushion in '' the flying vehicle and knocked it out op to the bridge, no damage was done __ either vehicle. The runaway's driver, ' Mr. Asplin. who had jumped or been ! thrown out in an early statge of the bolt, was picked up by Mr. Wrigley and taken ' to the hospital. ' - — ' i DEATHS.
