In reply to a request that the Trotting Club should nave a racing permit, the Minister promised to dp his best. If he had 25 more permits he oould m«et the demand; without them, the only way would be to review the allocations to the metropolitan clubs. Mr. Kxrsaell recommended a deputation from the Hospital Board to have a maternity ■ward built, and another for the observation of mental cases.
