I Some good-natured smiles were prompted by the reading of an intemperate letter of complaint from a i former femaie hospital patient before members of the Hospital Board this morning. The writer indulged in excessive • vll—peration at the expense of some memlers of the medical staff, but went to tie opposite extreme in referring to , others. Her particular grievance was , the refusal of certain doctors to persevere with the application of the X-ray j apparatus for the treatment of her case (cancer in the breast). The complaint "concluded--by asking if this Jack of attention was to be accounted for by the fact that she was of German, nationality, of which- she was extremely proud.
