I ARRANGEMENTS IX AUCKLAND, j The New Zealand .Scouts will have an ' opportunity on Sunday, the 26th inst., of welcoming the Chief Scout, Liputen-ant-General Sir R. S. S. Baden-Powell, who is making a tour of the world in connection with the movement of which he is the originator. The Scout Association, which is incorporated by Royal Charter, has branches in most civilised, countries, and has a membership of j over 1.000,000. At a service in St. Paul's Cathedral, London, a few days! ago, it was announced that 600,000 Scouts are enrolled in the British Em- j pi re. j The movement was introduced into! this Do-minion some three years ago.' and Auckland is one of the most active centres of its operations.
