AUCKLAND HARRIERS.
The run on Saturday took place from the Mount Eden Swimming Bains. 'Lexring the batliii, the course taten was along Do-minion-road and King Edward-street, at the bottom, of whica a co;isidera.ble area of swamp land was passed through. The coarse then led through Edendale and the outlying portion of Mount Knslrin. around the mountain from which the district li named, through a number of paddocks to the new coursing {rround. where a large number of hares were disporting themselves. Some of the members cast envious glances at the puce they were able to move at; no doubt a Little of it would come in handy wieit the club handicaps are held. Leaving the grounds a start was made for home, via a number of paddocks and Mount Edenroad, a good home run rat ~ l "c place alone Valley-road to the baths. The Clnb wish, to express their thanks to the Mount Eden ■Borontrh Council for having placed the baths at thp disposal of the Club free of charge. A special word is due to the caretaker of the bntks for the courtesy sliown to the members. The run next week will be from lion Destr Hotel, TS-kaprma. Members are requested to catch the 2J20 p.m. boat.
