The Frankton Town Board decided to obtain two producer plants, one coal, the other coke, in connection with the electric lighting scheme. The purchase of a site from Mr. Jolly for £270 was approved. The Newton Brass Band, under Conductor E. Bryant, will play a programme of music in the Albert Firk to-morrow. A collection will be taken at the gates in aid of the late Bandmaster Huiae's widow.
