Mr. T. Gresbam, district coroner, re turned to Auckland yesterday from a holiday visit to the Great Barrier. Mr. Arthur Nield, residing at Mangawh&re, an old resident of Northern Wairoa, died in a private hospital last night, after a short illness. Mt. J. S. McGowen, Premier of New South Wales, has just completed his twenty-fifth year of service as superintendent of St. Paul's Sunday School, Redfern. His reappointment for the twerrtysixth year was unanimous.
