MR WESLEY SPRAGG RETTRES FROM THE MANAGEMENT. A special meeting of the directors of the New Zealand Dairy Association was held this moraine to consider the future management of the company. Mr Wesely Spragg, who has occupied the position of managing director, referred to the injuries which he sustained some month* since in a buggy accident, and stated that since his return to business he had found the duties of administration a serious tax upon him and that he believed the interests of the Association would be best served by him retiring from the managejnent. Mr Spragg suggested that a general manager be appointed and that he (Mr 6pragg) continue to act as advisor to the Company, retaining the position of Chairman of Directors for the balance of his term. The directors expressed deep regret that Mr Spragg's health does not permit of him continuing to serve the Association in his former capacity, -but under the circumstances accepted with expressions of satisfaction the suggestion which he had made which would retain to the Association the prestige of Mr Spragu's connection and the benefit which his ■ large experience would give. Mr H. E. Pacev, who has been connected with the Dairy Association for orer 23 years and filled the office of secretary for over 1! years, was appointed to the office o: general manager, and applications will be called for the position of seeretarv.
